It has been an honor leading Good Earth during these most interesting of times.  The fine group of agents at Good Earth has consistently outperformed the competition.   

In the 4th quarter of 2008, we achieved No. 1 status in Dollar Volume sold.  A major accomplishment by a non-franchisee during an election year, turbulent economic times and considerable negative press.   Good Earth was #2 in 2006, 2007, and 2008 for Dollar Volume Sold.  We sold 260 homes in 06, 280 in 07 and 293 in 08.  We are excited about the Future of Good Earth and look forward to the opportunity to serve you.     

So that you can know me better, I have put together the following short biography.

I was born in Hillsdale, MI.  At Hillsdale College, I graduated with honors, cum laude, and began my professional real estate career, soon thereafter. I became a Jackson County resident in 1984.  My initial project was the ever popular Timber Meadows project.  After 25 years of practicing real estate,  I am highly respected by my peers and trusted by my clients. 

I was awarded Million Dollar Club Lifetime Membership before I turned 30 and, I have consistently been one of the top agents in Jackson.   I have sold nearly $20,000,000 Million in real estate in a year.   I once sold more than 100 homes in a year, back when the average sales price was $40,000.  Today, it is more than $85,000.  The current economy does not scare me.  Instead, I accept it as a challenge and an opportunity for a better future for Jackson.

In addition to hundreds of residential sales, I have developed sales and marketing programs for Lakewood Ridge Preserve, Lakewood Glen, Timber Meadows, Tims Lake Preserve, Fairfields of Spring Arbor, Fayette Arms, and the Settlement at Campbell Lake.  A few of the commercial projects, that I have represented, are the Walton Agency, Dr. Grant Wiig's office, Dr. Jack Wyatt's office , The Design Plus Co. locating to the former Jay's Bookmart, The Crossing Place and New Horizons Travel.  Call me to discuss the services, I offer you in the commercial, office and industrial lines of real estate.     

I take great pride in my community leadership and having many wonderful contacts and friends in Jackson.    In 2008, my Rotary Club of Jackson honored me with the Rotarian of the Year Honor.   Good Earth has organized an annual Earth Day Project that brings pride to our community.  We have won the Brick Award for our historic office building located at 604 Wildwood.  Our Pig Roast, during Jackson High's homecoming, is a big hit with kids and parents.  We have finished 2nd it the Chili Cook Off.  I am a founding member of the ROAR committee.  In my early days, my rec football and baseball teams were always competitive and the kids had great fun.   

Happily married to Yvonne for 20 years, I am dedicated to my family.  I am very proud of Ashleigh, Duce and Hailey.  My kids are leaders, in their own special ways.
